Mathematica Tutorial: Modeling Motion

This week’s Mathematica modeling topic will be “motion”.  Simulating realistic motion is essential for any video game programmer or Pixar animator.  The flight of baseballs, the vibration of molecules, the orbits of comets, and the dance of charged particles in electromagnetic fields can all be modeled using simple equations.  Stop by the Physics Lab in the basement of Carver on Tuesday, October 1 @ 5pm and see how!
