Application Process
Simpson College is on rolling admissions. Once a student’s file is complete, they will typically have an admission decision within two weeks. Simpson starts accepting applications in late August.
Counselor recommendation form
All first year students applying to Simpson must include a Counselor Recommendation form with their application. This information is used by the admission committee to make an educated decision on the student’s potential for success at Simpson. We appreciate you taking the time to complete this form about your students. We also accept counselor recommendations through the Common Application.
Application
There are three ways for your student to apply to Simpson. They can apply online, using the Common Application or by completing a Printable Version.
Test Scores
We accept both the ACT and the SAT. Subject tests are not required. Simpson will also superscore test scores, so please be sure your students send us scores from all of their test dates. The super score will be used for admission as well as scholarships.
