Each year, Simpson College receives bequests from alumni who realize that the financial needs of the mission and programs of the college do not and cannot end with the loss of a friend and supporter. They also realize they can make a big difference in the work that goes on at Simpson through gifts that take place after they are gone.
The Office of College Advancement has established this page to help you better understand the advantages to you and Simpson when establishing a planned gift with the college. By utilizing the links to the right you can learn about various instruments used to make a planned gift, or membership in The Matthew Simpson Society. You may also request to have information mailed or e-mailed to you on any of 32 topics, covering such general subjects as estate planning, and specific instruments, such as charitable reminder trusts, gift annuities, and charitable bequests.
IRA Roll Over Reinstated - The Pension Protection Act allows donors to make a charitable gift using IRA funds without tax complications in 2008 and 2009.
