It’s a crisp afternoon in October. Hundreds of people wearing red and gold T-shirts and sweatshirts line the field at Bill Buxton Stadium as kickoff nears. And a chant begins: 

“Let’s…go…Storm!” 

The spirit of Simpson is readily apparent at our sporting events. Simpson athletes compete at the NCAA Division III level in the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. 

Our teams have won nearly 90 IACC championships, two Division III national championships, and we have produced more than 250 All-Americans and nearly 50 Academic All-Americans. 

We want you to excel as well. In the summer of 2011, Simpson installed a new football field turf and track surface that is considered to be one of the highest performing in the industry. Plans are underway to renovate Cowles Fieldhouse and Carse Fitness Center. 

Our coaches are always searching for talented athletes who may have been overlooked by larger programs. They welcome inquiries and tapes. Who knows? You could be our next All-American!
