I am thrilled to begin my second year here at Simpson College. I am teaching Discovering Theatre both semesters and costume designing University and The Winter’s Tale this year. I also supervise the costume shop and the construction of all the costumes for Theatre Simpson.
Some of my recent design credits include: The Quiet Man at the Winterset Stage, Peer Gynt at Simpson College, Willie Wonka, Jr., Berenstain Bears on Stage, Disney’s The Jungle Book Kids and Pippi Longstocking’s Musical Adventure at Ogunquit Playhouse in Ogunquit, ME, Streetcar Named Desire, Love in a Time of War (Barbizon nominee), Dark of the Moon (Ostrander – Memphis Theatre Awards – nominee & Barbizon nominee), and Blood Brothers (Barbizon regional finalist) at the University of Memphis, Frame by Frame and Blue with Project: Motion, Prelude at Shakespeare and Company in Lenox, MA, and Pippi Longstocking and The Absolutely Awesome Giant at Arkansas State University.
I hold an MFA in theatre with an emphasis in costume design and makeup design from the University of Memphis, a MA in Communication Studies and Theatre from Arkansas State University, and a BFA in Theatre Design/Technology from Arkansas State University.
