I am a native Nebraskan who graduated from Simpson College and enjoyed it so much that I had to return. I am an Assistant Professor in Sport Science and Health Education and also serve as the department chair.
I am an Exercise Physiologist and Certified Athletic Trainer, so you can tell that I enjoy studying sports, exercise and the human body. I teach Kinesiology, Personal Health, Nutrition, Exercise Physiology and Exercise Prescription for Special Populations, which are all part of the Exercise Science and/or Athletic Training major(s). I am specifically passionate about children’s health and nutrition and love working with Indianola schools to educate and enhance the health of the local kids.
When I’m not at Simpson, I stay busy with my three kids. In addition, my husband is a football and wrestling coach, so our life is surrounded by athletics. Go Storm!
