I was born and raised in Wisconsin. I am a graduate of Luther College in Decorah, IA with a B.A. in Physical Education and Health, and I have
a Masters of Education – Professional Development from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse.
I am an adjunct instructor at Simpson in Sports Science and Health Education. I am also an adjunct instructor at Grand View University in the Health and Physical Education Department as well as the Education Department. I spent five years teaching physical education and health in a K-8 school before switching and teaching in higher education. I spent seven years coaching collegiate women’s basketball at Grand View and Minnesota State University-Mankato. My goal is to educate students so they enjoy the field they go into and help them become mentors and leaders.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy all forms of recreation and participating and being a spectator at athletic events.
