The Black Student Union (BSU) promote activities of mutual concern, as well as cultural and educational ones to benefits for the African American student body and allies. Established in 2016, BSU nurtures a bit of fun and in a safe an environment that engages our members in the discussion on issues affecting us and our surrounding communities, even globally. We hope to educate our members then challenge them to take action, whether it be internal or external, safely and respectfully. We hope to lead by example and push students to be better than their best. We hope to show past generations that we will take charge of our future, dismantle the negative, harmful stereotypes, build and secure our sense of community, and influence the world. With these values, we will change ourselves,  our college and our peers to establish a place of inclusion and unity.
