Business Administration and Economics
As the financial world evolves and stock markets remain unpredictable around the globe, our business fundamentals remain the same. Simpson faculty gives business students the tools to understand what’s happening in the big picture while exploring the day-to-day financial influences that make a degree in business a highly marketable distinction.
Our campus, just south of the state capital, is ideal for landing prized internships at global companies based in Des Moines. Student interns have been successfully placed at Principal Financial Group, Wells Fargo, Merrill Lynch and Pioneer Hi-Bred as well as other organizations outside of Des Moines
Your leadership and organizational skills are honed through Simpson’s chapter of Enactus (formerly SIFE), a global business organization for colleges. Money management skills are put to the test when you get to invest actual money in the financial markets through the Eberhart Student Investment Organization.
