Volunteers are needed to watch children on Thursday evenings during adult classes that are offered from 6:30-9:15 p.m. This time is called ”Fun With A Purpose” and the goal is to share the love of Christ through structured play.

Mission: Your friendly neighborhood library located near campus and serving community members of all ages. Volunteers are needed to serve patrons and help with library educational programs such as story hours, leading children in craft construction, and updating computers. Volunteers are also needed for special research projects as they arise.

Mission: The Indianola Recreation Department offers youth sports programs including tee ball, soccer, flag football, basketball, volleyball and track, in addition to other programs and facilities that are open to everyone. They also have beautification projects available to enhance city parks. Volunteers are needed mostly as volunteer coaches or team captains.

Mission: To promote and educate children and adults about ballooning and the history of hot air balloons, which started in 1783. Volunteers needed in many capacities to operate the museum.

Mission: The mission of the Science Center is to be the highest quality resource inspiring scientific exploration through interactive education, exhibits, and programs. Their goal is to be a quality community resource for informal science learning where children, families, school groups and individuals come to explore science and technology. Volunteers are needed in many areas including assisting with programming and general upkeep of exhibits.

Mission: The Historical Museum collects and displays artifacts and photographs from the past. The museum is open on Saturdays from 2 until 4 from September through May. Volunteers are needed to attend to the museum while it is open and to do cataloging projects.
