Credits earned at Simpson College may be transferred to other institutions. Students who are degree-seeking at another institution are encouraged to obtain transfer approval from that institution prior to taking a Simpson course.

Simpson has articulation agreements with a number of Des Moines area colleges and universities and with certain community colleges throughout Iowa. Contact any Evening, Weekend and Graduate program advisor for additional information regarding the transfer of credits to Simpson.

Students who have earned an A.A. degree at an accredited community college will, if admitted to Simpson College, be awarded 64 semester credits toward their Simpson degree and be classified as "juniors." Transferred courses will also be evaluated in terms of specific Simpson requirements. A.A. graduates who transfer to Simpson are encouraged to meet with an academic advisor to learn exactly what requirements remain to earn a B.A. degree.
