Simpson College offers a FREE, one-credit course called Transitions for new and prospective students. You will meet current students and faculty, tour each of our three campuses and learn about the services available to our evening and weekend students. This class meets a total of three evenings over a three-week period.
Our next set of Transitions classes will be held from 6 pm to 9pm on the following dates:
December 1, 2009 in West Des Moines
December 8, 2009 in Ankeny
December 15, 2009 in Indianola

- Balancing family, career and school
- Study strategies, time management, test taking skills
- Introduction to fellow adult students, academic advisors and faculty members
- Tour of each campus
- Library resources, computer labs, free tutoring services
- Maximizing financial aid grants and loans
- How to use the no-interest tuition reimbursement loan
