Online Participation through SCHOLAR and SC Connect

Continuing & Graduate courses require participation in an online component delivered via SCHOLAR. To gain access to SCHOLAR and your academic records, please use the Simpson College portal known as SC Connect.

All students can use SC Connect to access their grades and their course schedule. Your username is “first name.last name”. For detailed instructions on how to access your grades through SC Connect, please click here.  Call one of our offices if you need help logging in. This site also allows you to search for classes as a guest.

Request your Simpson transcripts for college transfers, graduate school applications or job applications.

You may request official and unofficial transcripts through the Office of the Registrar.

Using Dunn Library

All students are encouraged to take advantage of library and computer resources and services. The library has a wide variety of useful databases and web resources available online. For more information call 515-961-1663 (Dunn Library) or 515-961-1554 (Computer Lab).

Simpson E-mail Account

A free Simpson e-mail account is provided to all students. For help with establishing your account, please contact Information Services at (515) 961-1885. To reach this e-mail account using your own Internet service provider or a computer on the campus network, visit and click on the “Current Students” link in the upper right corner.

Career Services receives new position announcement for part-/full-time jobs daily and post them as soon as they are received at CareerPaths ( The site is constantly being updated with postings from several sources.
