In order to receive a Masters of Criminal Justice degree from Simpson College, a student must complete all application procedures and be officially accepted by the college. What is required for admission?
Applicants must have earned a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution. The application process can be initiated by going to www.simpson.edu/macj. In addition to completing the application form individuals must submit official transcripts from all colleges previously attended, provide three letters of recommendation and a current resume. An MACJ professional statement must be completed as well as an essay on a social problem of concern to the applicant. Finally, the applicant should meet with Craig Peck, the academic advisor for the MACJ.
