In order to receive a Masters of Criminal Justice degree from Simpson College, a student must complete all application procedures and be officially accepted by the college. Our Academic Advisor is available to assist you in completing this process at the Ankeny campus. Contact Craig Peck at 515-965-9355 with any questions.

What is required for admission?

Applicants must have earned a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution. The application process can be initiated by going to www.simpson.edu/macj. In addition to completing the application form individuals must submit official transcripts from all colleges previously attended, provide three letters of recommendation and a current resume. An MACJ professional statement must be completed as well as an essay on a social problem of concern to the applicant. Finally, the applicant should meet with Craig Peck, the academic advisor for the MACJ.
