Budget and Liaison Committee

The Budget and Liaison Committee serves as a liaison between the faculty and the college administration in matters related to the institutional budget and its effect on academic excellence by collecting and communicating relevant budgetary and financial information to the faculty while representing the faculty’s voice in the budget development process; or, as directed by the faculty for other issues which may arise that are not within the jurisdiction of other faculty committees.

Membership:

Two tenured faculty members and two non-tenured faculty members from different divisions. Their elections shall be staggered. The Constitution and Nominating Committee shall nominate two faculty members of appropriate rank for each vacant position on the Budget and Liaison Committee.

The chairperson of the All Campus Budget Committee (as an ex-officio member with full voting rights).

The chairperson shall be elected from among tenured faculty members in the committee (other than the chair of the All Campus Budget Committee).

The chairperson shall be one of the representatives of the faculty to the Board of Trustees.
