The Budget and Liaison Committee serves as a liaison between the faculty and the college administration in matters related to the institutional budget and its effect on academic excellence by collecting and communicating relevant budgetary and financial information to the faculty while representing the faculty’s voice in the budget development process; or, as directed by the faculty for other issues which may arise that are not within the jurisdiction of other faculty committees.
Two tenured faculty members and two non-tenured faculty members to be elected with terms staggered so that approximately one-third of the committee members are elected each year. In managing the nomination process, the CNC will maintain the 50-50 ratio of tenured to untenured faculty.
The chairperson shall be elected from among tenured faculty members in the committee. The chairperson shall be one of the representatives of the faculty to the Board of Trustees.
