Seminary Students: Dr. W.B. Small Grants available for fill-time seminary students working on their Masters of Divinity who have an Iowa connection. Teacher Education and Compensation Helps Scholarship Program is available for students who are enrolled at least on a part-time basis while they continue to provide child care and preschool   in the local area.  For complete details and application go to:  www.iowaaeyc.org .


The Flosum 2015 Scholarship. This is a new $750 scholarship award open to pursuing or intending to pursue their bachelor’s degree which can be in the fields of computer engineering, computer science or in another technical discipline such as electrical engineering, physics or mathematics with an interest in the field of computer science.

What’s behind this scholarship?

IDC estimates that this year alone that 60% of the budget will be spent on IT maintenance. This number is projected to grow fifty-fold by the year 2020. Right now and in the near future, companies need a complete life-cycle management framework to help manage and control the applications. We want to encourage students to pursue release management careers and to play an active role in the new data-centric global economy.

InsuranceProviders.com is proud to introduce a new scholarship promoting motorcycle safety among students. The Look Twice, Save A Life Scholarship of $1,000 is awarded to any student who is currently attending or planning to attend college or some form of higher education. One applicant will be chosen who best brings awareness to motorcycle safety. The scholarship will be awarded on an annual basis for the Spring semester. The deadline to apply is December, 1st.

Davis Scholarship: This $1,000 scholarship is open to high school juniors, seniors or those currently enrolled in college.  There is no age restriction.  It is not an academic scholarship so no transcripts or letters of recommendation are required at this time.  The deadline for applications is May 23, 2016. Abbott and Fenner Scholarship Program: Students will submit an essay on the topic that appears on the scholarship page of their website http://www.abbottandfenner.com/scholarship.htm.  A yearly winner will receive up to $1,000 and the application deadline is June 10, 2016.


Acuity Training Leadership Scholarship: Currently available to students enrolled at a college, university, high school or trade school.  This $1,000 scholarship is for students demonstrating outstanding leadership ability.  Application will include a three to four minute video discussing the merits of leadership and showcasing a situation or situations where they have demonstrated outstanding leadership ability.  Submission deadline is December 31st and details can be found at www.acuitytraining.co.uk/scholarships
