Although you have probably done quite a bit of writing in high school, previous college classes, or even your job, it is sometimes difficult for college students to handle the different types of writing required by college professors. Being asked to write an in-depth research paper, a lab report, or even a journal entry can seem confusing if you don’t understand what these different types of writing entail.
