Student Health Insurance
All full-time students are required to provide proof of health insurance.  Students not currently covered by a family insurance policy will need to purchase and provide proof of health insurance.  Simpson College in partnership with Aetna Student Health, offers a student-focused health insurance plan that protects students at school, at home, and while traveling or studying abroad. Athletes purchasing the student-focused plan will also need to purchase the Student NCAA Supplemental Plan that offers additional protection for sports related injuries. Students who have coverage from a parent or other personal plan may waive coverage from the Aetna plan. Students may enroll in the Aetna plan or waive the insurance requirement by providing personal insurance information by accessing the following website:

Simpson Student Health Insurance/Aetna

Students who do not waive the student health insurance requirement will be enrolled in the Aetna plan and the cost of the plan will be automatically added to their Simpson student account.

For questions regarding plan coverage please contact an Aetna representative though their website or at the following Aetna Assistance Line:1-866-618-0041. Students may also contact the Office of Student Development: 515-961-1592.
