Scholar is a web based learning management software that many of our faculty will use to create an online learning community for your classes. They will use it in a variety of ways, such as posting syllabus and class information, testing online, and facilitating forum discussions, all designed to extend and enhance the learning opportunities outside the classroom.
1) Start a web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari)
2) Access the Simpson College homepage and click on the SC Conect link under either the Current Students or Faculty & Staff tabs in the top right hand corner.
3) Enter your SC Connect username and password. (If you are prompted to let your browser save your password, choose No. This will help prevent others from accessing your student information.)
4) Click the Submit button.
5) Click on the Scholar link under the “My Links” heading.
