Access StormFront by using the StormFront link under the tabs Current Students or Faculty & Staff. If you are on your office computer or a machine that is only used by you, select the button “This is a private computer.” If you are in a shared environment like a computer lab, make sure you leave the button selected that says this is a public or shared computer. The difference between the two choices is the time of inactivity before the portal will automatically log you off. Log into the portal using the same username and password that you use to log on to a Simpson College owned computer or the username that you use to retrieve your email over the web.

It is very important to log out of the portal when you are done, especially if you are in a shared environment like a computer lab. If you do not log out, anyone who uses the computer after you may have access to your information and email. To log out, click on your name in the upper right hand corner of the screen and a drop down menu will appear, choose the sign out option and click it.
