Mission statement of the Office of the Registrar

As custodians for the academic data and the integrity of the academic policies of the college, we are committed to assisting students and the Simpson Community in working within the parameters of the academic policies and requirements while respecting the dignity of all who seek our assistance.

 

IMPORTANT DATES:

Office Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

  • First day of CGOE classes: Monday, August 28, 2023.
  • First day of fall traditional classes: Tuesday, August 29, 2023.
  • All College Convocation: Wednesday, August 30, 2023.
  • Labor Day-Regular Class Day: Monday, September 4, 2023.
  • Last day to add/drop a full-semester or Term 1 class: Monday, September 4, 2023.
  • Last day to withdraw from any Term 1 course: Sunday, October 1, 2023.
  • Family Weekend/Homecoming: October 14, 2023.
  • Mid-term is Friday, October 13, 2023, and mid-term grades are due Wednesday, October 18, 2023.
  • Fall Break (No Classes for Traditional Course Offerings): October 19-20, 2023.
  • Last day of Term 1 courses: Sunday, October 22, 2023.
  • Term 2 courses begin: Monday, October 23, 2023.
  • Term 1 grades due: Wednesday, October 25, 2023.
  • Last day to add/drop Term 2 courses: Sunday, October 29, 2023.
  • Last day to withdraw from a full-semester course: Monday, November 6, 2023.
  • Registration for spring & May term 2024 courses: November, 6-8, 2023.
  • Thanksgiving Break: November 22-24, 2023.
  • Last day to withdraw from any Term 2 course: Sunday, November 26, 2023.
  • Last day of classes (Traditional Courses): Thursday, December 7, 2023.
  • College Reading Day (Traditional Program): Friday, December 8, 2023.
  • Finals: Monday, December 11-Wednesday,  December 13, 2023*
    *    (Dec. 14 Snow make-up day). 
  • December Commencement: Friday, December 15, 2023 at 6:30 p.m.
