Kresge was built in 1949 and a wing was added in 1961 to make it the largest residence hall at Simpson. It was renovated in 2001 and now provides housing for 210 first-year students on three floors, primarily in two-person rooms. Each wing has community bathroom and laundry facilities. On the first floor is the main lounge, area housing office and vending area, and in the basement is another lounge and a computer room.
