SAE’s Iowa Sigma chapter was established at Simpson in 1889. The chapter house is a residence hall with room for 40 men; it was built in 1963. Each floor has a community bath, and all rooms are doubles. Other amenities in the SAE house include a kitchen (and meal plan for members) on the lower level, a lounge on first floor and laundry facilities on second and third floors.
