Middle School Honor Band
Simpson College has hosted an honor band for 7th and 8th grade students since 1990. This festival allows students from many schools to come together and work with exciting guest conductors. Typically over fifty schools participate. The event occurs in January and students perform in the Pote Theatre in the Blank Performing Arts Center.
Clinicians for this year’s Honor Band are Jayson Gerth from Southeast Polk and Seth Banwell from Berg Middle School in Newton.
Registration is open until November 19
