The Multicultural International Affairs looks forward to meeting new and returning undergraduate and Fulbright Language Assistants at the International Student Orientation.
This page is used to help inform the new incoming international students of what to expect when they arrive to Simpson College and of New International Student Orientation. Please be sure to read this page carefully as there is different information for some students.
All new international students MUST attend the New International Student Orientation. At this orientation there will be a variety of information regarding Simpson College and Immigration Regulations. Some of the things covered at orientation will include:
- Student rights and responsibilities for SEVIS
- Academic Integrity
- Safety on- and off-campus
- Campus resources
- Banking and Insurance
All new international students MUST check-in with Multicultural Affairs as soon as possible after arriving in Indianola and prior to orientation. You should bring your passport with your visa, your I-20 and your I-20 or DS-2019. If Multicultural International Affairs does not receive those three items, it can result in termination of your immigration record.
