The Multicultural International Affairs looks forward to meeting new and returning undergraduate and Fulbright Language Assistants at the International Student Orientation.
This page is used to inform new incoming international students of what to expect when they arrive at Simpson College and of New International Student Orientation. Please be sure to read this page carefully.
1. All new international students MUST attend the New International Student Orientation. At this orientation there will be a variety of information provide to students regarding Simpson College and Immigration Regulations. Some of the things covered at the orientation are shown as below:
- Student rights and responsibilities for SEVIS
- Academic Integrity
- Safety on- and off-campus
- Campus resources
- Banking and Insurance
All new international students MUST check-in with Multicultural Affairs as soon as possible after arriving in Indianola; prior to orientation. Please bring your passport with your visa, I-20 or DS-2019. If the Multicultural International Affairs does not receive those three items, it can result in the termination of your immigration record.
International Student Orientation will be held on January 5, 2017, at 9:30am (meet in Kent Campus Center)
