SUMMER CAMPS 2018
Orpheus Singing Actor Camp takes place July 15-21, 2018. We’re changing things up to offer vocalists and pianists a one-of-a-kind experience! Vocalists will come to camp with pre-assigned roles in opera, operetta, or musical theater scenes, and be immersed in personal coaching, dynamic class content, private lessons and more, including an optional one day add-on to perform with a professional choir and orchestra. Two extraordinary pianists interested in collaborative performance will be offered full scholarships to attend camp, and will also have tailored content, private lessons, and solo and collaborative performance experience.
13th Annual Simpson Fall Honor Choir – Thursday, October 12, 2017: The Simpson College Honor Choir is designed as a non-competitive environment where exceptional students from high school programs have the opportunity to spend a day rehearsing and performing high quality choral music. A day such as this serves as an opportunity for students to energize, discover, and reaffirm their interest and passion in singing. Concert is at 6:30 p.m. in Smith Chapel.
