2015 Summer Registration Days:
June 16th, 17th, 18th, or 19th
(4 – One Day Sessions)
Summer Registration is a complete introduction for new first-year students to Simpson College. New students will meet their faculty advisors, choose their first semester classes, receive all contact information and access to Simpson College’s online portal system, get their Student ID photo taken, and start building both personal and academic relationships. Throughout this process, students will have the guidance of a current student who will serve as their orientation leader both in the summer and again in the fall when they begin their college journeys at Simpson.
A Simpson Colloquium (SC) class is the first class that students will register for before even arriving at Summer Registration. Students will select this course when they register for their chosen Registration Day. A list of “Simpson Colloquium” courses is found to the left.
New students choose their SC course and Registration Day through an online sign-up form found on their Welcome portal. Instructions for logging into the Welcome portal are mailed to new students once they have paid their deposits.
Full schedules for the day are posted below. There is one schedule for students and one for guests. Guests and students will meet at check-out at the end of the day, which happens around 4:00p.m.
