The Joseph W. Walt Research Library features the books he used to research Liechtenstein as well as posters about that country that once hung in his house. Walt became enchanted with the country as a young stamp collector and visited there almost every year. “I have eclectic taste,” he says. “That’s why I’m so fascinated by the use of mixed media. I like mixed media because of the outcome of combining several elements, creating various textures and color to evoke a thought and mood in the stories I tell. Simpson’s ATO Alumni and Undergraduates Help National Fraternity Celebrate 150 Years

Simpson’s Beta Alpha chapter of Alpha Tau Omega is the second oldest ATO chapter west of the Mississippi and the second oldest Greek chapter on the Simpson campus. The chapter, which has produced countless servant leaders throughout its 130-year history, left its mark again in August as alumni and undergraduates gathered together with nearly 700 others in Indianapolis to help the national fraternity celebrate its 150th anniversary.
