“Best Show of Year” awaits visitors to Farnham Galleries

Is Art Professor David Richmond correct? Is the Senior Art Exhibition currently featured at Farnham Galleries “the best show of the year?”

Come see for yourself, as the work of nine talented Simpson College seniors is displayed in an exhibit that runs through April 27.

“Our students use this exhibit to show how they have matured as artists,” Richmond said. “They have all done such a marvelous job this year. Come to this show if you want to see great art from our young artists at Simpson College.”

The artists whose work is being featured are: Conny Bell, Bethany Christenson, Jenna Huston, Tessa Leone, Josh Lerseth, Bobby Patrick, Paul Salais, Holden Walton and Josh Wardenburg.

A reception for the Simpson artists will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. April 27 in Farnham Galleries, which is located in Mary Berry Hall on Simpson’s campus.

Farnham Galleries is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, with additional hours available upon request. Call 515-961-1486 for more information, or go to simpson.edu/art/gallery.
