Des Moines Man Wins Iowa History Center Prize for Master Thesis

Seth Hedquist was given the honor for his thesis, “The Chronicles of Agrimusic.” The award comes with a plaque and $1,000 prize. Hedquist completed his master’s degree in history at Iowa State University and is currently a professional musician living and working in Des Moines. More…

Prairie Project To Show Iowa Land The Way It Used To Be

The prairie, which will be planted this month, will contain four different sections, along with an area of grass maintained for kids in the community to sled on in the winter.
