Simpson Speech and Debate Flexes Rhetorical Muscle at National Tourney

Simpson’s Speech and Debate Team crowned three individual champions and one runner-up at the Pi Kappa Delta National Tournament in Boise, Idaho. The debate team finished second in that category, the speech team finished eight and Simpson was sixth in the overall rankings, competing against 72 other colleges and universities. More…

Teaching AND Performing: Suzanne Lommler Finds Time for Both

Suzanne Lommler, a voice and diction professor, recently finished performances at the Haymarket Opera in Chicago. Lommler is an adjunct professor at Simpson who helps students develop their singing voice. Her assignments include everything from instructing students individually on vocal technique, to teaching a class on foreign language diction for singers. More…

Senior-to-be Jacy Gomez Receives Donald G. Gibson Scholarship
