Simpson College will gather to remember and celebrate the life of Joseph W. Walt during a memorial service at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 16 in Smith Chapel.

Walt, a professor emeritus of history whose connection with the College spanned nearly half a century, died Jan. 2 at the age of 88.

The entire Simpson community is invited.
