“I am thankful to be back in Iowa. This Thanksgiving is my first Thanksgiving back in several years, and I can’t think of a place I’d rather be. I feel very fortunate Simpson College afforded me the opportunity to return to my home state and to the people I love the most.” -Bobbi Meyer, Internship Coordinator

“I'm thankful for the new opportunities that are presented to me on a daily basis. Whether they be in creating new personal relationships, building lasting ones, preparing for the job market, contacting a family member, or participating in community service. While at Simpson this is something I am greeted with everyday and try not to ignore or take for granted." -Lauren Anderson, junior

“There are so many things I am thankful for – my cat is probably not one of them. I am tremendously thankful for my two children. They both have a lot of hospital ER experience, and consequently, every dinner we have together invariably includes a conversation about projectile vomiting. And yet, they love their work. My kids are my heroes because they have sought out their deepest passion and it has not been a smooth road for either one of them. And, they are also great kids.” -Pat Singer, Division Head of Natural Science, Professor of Biology
