Kevin Rice '12 (Philosophy and Psychology)

"I am presently enrolled in the Master's program for Philosophy at the University of Missouri - St. Louis. My current research interests in philosophy have to do with the metaphysics of scientific explanation and philosophy of mind. I am also a researcher at the Brogaard Lab for Multi Sensory Research, where I conduct experiments investigating the abnormal perceptual condition of Synesthesia, as well as investigate the cognitive capacities underlying musical and acoustic processing. My most recent publication has been co-authorship for MIT press in their forthcoming book Sensory Integration and the Unity of Consciousness, where our article The Long-Term Potentiation Model for Grapheme-Color Binding in Synesthesia is to appear." -Kevin Rice
