Simpson College President Jay Byers
Jay Byers ’93, J.D., is the 25th president of Simpson College. His service to the College began July 31, 2023. Prior to his presidential appointment, Byers served on Simpson’s Board of Trustees for 11 years. He also distinguished himself during 18 years of executive leadership with the Greater Des Moines Partnership, including 11 years as president and CEO. Byers professional career began as an attorney in Indianapolis.
