Quench: Living WaterQuench2

Our contemporary non-denominational worship experience. Come worship with us as we explore what it means to live out Christian faith as students.

John 4:13-14–Jesus said to her, ‘Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, 14but those who drink of the water that I will give them will never be thirsty. The water that I will give will become in them a spring of water gushing up to eternal life.’

Wednesdays, 9:00 PM, Smith Chapel Praise Band

Quench. Praise band

The Praise Band is comprised of Simpson Students who provide music for campus worship on Wednesday nights.  It welcomes vocal and instrumental musicians who feel called to serve God through musical praise.

Practice: TBA, Smith Chapel

Calm Cafe

Our laid back worship experience that allows students to explore faith in a spiritual, but not explicitly religious way. Students are welcome to express their opinions and experiences in mediums that suit them, including music, dance, poetry, or speaking.

Communion is offered at Quench monthly. In addition, a local Catholic priest offers the sacrament at Mass each week. Communion can also be offered at other times to anyone who would like to receive the sacrament.

About Me

Hello! I am a senior psychology major with the hope of attending graduate school and becoming a child clinical psychologist. I stay busy on campus playing trombone in concert and jazcarlyz band, and serving as a SARA member. In my free time I enjoy reading, writing, playing music, and spending time with my friends. During my time at Simpson, I have deeply grown in my faith due to the activities hosted by RLC and the wonderful people I have met. I look forward to being a part of your faith journey here at Simpson, and I look forward to getting to know you this year! Feel free to talk to me about Quench or anything on your mind! I can be reached at carly.warner@my.simpson.edu.
