Simpson College’s residence halls and college-owned Greek buildings close for four breaks during the year: Fall, Thanksgiving, Winter, and Spring.  The dates for these can be found here: http://simpson.edu/reslife/important-dates/.

Spring Break Closing

Barker, Kresge, Buxton, Picken, KKG, KTP, ATO, SAE, and LXA will be closed from 6pm on Friday, March 1 until 12pm on Sunday, March 10 for Spring Break.  During this time, only students who request permission or have a college-sponsored and certified reason to stay on campus will be permitted in these buildings.

Students who request to stay are charged $15/day while in break housing.  If you are a student-athlete needing to stay over break, I will be in touch with your coach and you do not have to fill out this form.  If you are an international student, please still fill out the form, but you will not be charged for staying on campus.  If you’re traveling for an alternative spring break trip, I’ve already received your name from the advisors of the group.

If you live more than a 6 hour drive from Simpson, you will be allowed one free travel day.  Students farther than 12 hours drive will be allowed two free travel days.
