Sophomore Portfolio 2013

During their second semester in the Art Program at Simpson, Art Majors choose twelve of their most successful works of art created during their college careers to include in the Sophomore Portfolio.

Within the Art Major Seminar course, students are taught how to mat and frame work professionally, photograph their work, and create a digital portfolio to accompany the actual Sophomore Portfolio.

Once Portfolios are assembled and documented, professors in the Art Department review and assess the work using a set rubric.  Students receive this accumulated feedback and in the end one portfolio is awarded the Outstanding Sophomore Portfolio Award.
