Welcome to the home of Simpson Wrestling

The Simpson wrestling program has become a national leader over the past decade. Beginning with Nick Ackerman’s 2001 national championship and appearance on NBC’s Today show, continuing with a third place finish at the 2004 national duals, moving on to three consecutive top 10 NCAA finishes to today where the Storm continue to vie for a place at the top of Division III’s top league, the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Wade Dowling
The senior from West Des Moines, Iowa, has been participating in wrestling since he was in second grade.

The sophomore from Creston, Iowa, has been wrestling since he was 6 years old.

The environmental biology major led the Storm in wins as a freshman and sophomore.
