Study Abroad Photo Contest

The 2017 contest’s grand prize winning photo entitled “Sea creatures or Simpson students?” was taken by Elizabeth Boyer in Ireland during her May Term 2017 international travel course, “Photographic Tour of Ireland.”

Thanks to all who submitted photos for the 10th Annual Study Abroad Photo Contest.  The 11th Annual Photo Contest will begin accepting submissions in June through Sept. 10, 2018.

Simpson students who were registered for a Study Abroad program in Fall 2016, Spring 2017, May Term 2017 or Summer 2017 are eligible to enter even if they have since graduated from Simpson.

All photos must have been taken by the student entering them.

Entries from professional photographers are not allowed.

Each study abroad student may enter up to two photos per category for a total of six photos in the competition.

All submissions become the property of Simpson College, which retains the right to use any photo entries in its publications, on its website, etc.  Photos will not be returned.

Entries must be received at the Office of International Education (OIE) by 4:00 PM on Monday, Sept. 11, 2017 to be considered as part of the 2017 contest.
