The Simpsonian is the nation’s oldest continually published student newspaper. It has has been published nonstop since September 1870. Single copies are available on the Simpson College campus Thursdays during the academic year, excluding Thanksgiving, Christmas Break, Spring Break and May Term. The newspaper is distributed throughout campus and the Indianola community.

The Simpsonian is an award-winning member of the Associated Collegiate Press, the Columbia Scholastic Press Association, the Iowa College Media Association and the Iowa Newspaper Foundation.
