French Club and French Table are two great ways to get involved on campus and meet other fun-loving people who get a kick out of all things French. The French Club gets together every other week for a French-related activity. Game nights, a Tahitian evening complete with costume judging, crêpe parties, a Swiss raclette dinner, a secret mission game, service activities, and rugby lessons have been some of the favorites. The best ideas come from the group itself, so get involved and get creative! You don’t even have to speak French to enjoy the fun—everyone is always welcome!
The French Table is a weekly informal opportunity to speak French in a laid-back setting. Our Fulbright assistant from France keeps the conversation going and helps you learn how to say what you want to say (even if it’s not in the textbook). Everyone who wants to practice French (or listen to others practice French) is welcome!
