My name is Amy Gieseke and I am the Dean of Continuing, Graduate & Online Programs here at Simpson College. Along with many other talented staff and faculty, I help to administer our graduate programs as well as our online and evening/blended programs for adult learners (housed at our West Des Moines Campus).

Prior to coming to Simpson, I spent over 10 years working in online and continuing education in the University of Maine System. My husband, daughter and I relocated to Iowa in 2017 for this amazing job opportunity at Simpson, as well as to be closer to my family who all live in the Des Moines area.

I have worked with adult students my entire career, and nothing gives me more satisfaction than helping a student achieve a lifelong goal. Whether you are here to finish something you started long ago, to make a career change, to advance in your career, or to simply learn for the sake of learning, we are here to help you achieve your goals. Your success is why we come to work every day! Please do not hesitate to reach out to me, or to any of the Continuing & Graduate Program staff, if you have questions or concerns during your time here at Simpson.
