Chris Niemeyer, a 1993 Simpson Alumnus, currently serves as an Advancement Gifts Officer in the Office of College Advancement.
Chris graduated from Simpson with a B.A. in Elementary Education along with a coaching endorsement, and began his career teaching and coaching in north central Iowa for four years. He then moved to Phoenix, AZ where he taught for two more years before advancing to a District Office role in Professional Development.
Soon after completing his Master’s Degree, Chris spent the next 17 years helping K-12 school districts across the country implement and integrate technology-based solutions as a K-12 Educational Technology Sales Rep.
In the spring of 2012, Chris and his wife, Jacqueline, along with their three daughters, moved back to the Midwest, and currently reside in Norwalk where the kids attend school. Chris joined the Office of College Advancement team in May 2017. Jacqueline currently serves as a first grade teacher in the Norwalk School District.
