Payroll Coordinator

Simpson College is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time payroll coordinator in the Office of Business and Finance.

Principal Duties
This position is responsible for all aspects of multiple payrolls, using an in-house system. Duties will include timely completion of payroll cycles, related reporting and compliance requirements, training employees and work-study students on Simpson’s time entry system, and any other payroll-related responsibilities. 

Required Skills
Skills required include, but are not limited to, outstanding attention to detail, organization, maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality, demonstrable aptitude for mathematical skills, and computer skills (PC based Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel). Payroll experience and a 2-yr accounting degree preferred. The successful candidate will have the ability to work as a team member as well as independently.
