Sport Administration major

Sport Administration majors at Simpson College will be exposed to a rigorous and current curriculum in an environment that fosters a commitment to the college’s mission statement and a respect for human dignity.

Students accepted into the program after fulfilling the requirements via an application process will be led through interaction with faculty and sports industry professionals. This includes practical, experiential learning opportunities (including a capstone) and will develop their content knowledge, professional dispositions, ethical, reflective thinking, and communication skills as they prepare to be agents of change in the sports industry through graduate studies, professional opportunities, their community, and their personal lives.

Coursework provides a foundation in sports, including economic, financial, historical, leadership, legal, and marketing perspectives. Along with an internship (or two), you will be prepared for various opportunities in the administrative side of sports.

Sports Administration minors at Simpson College will be provided with a current curriculum and practical opportunities, preparing them to be agents of change in the sports industry in diverse roles.
