Graduate Programs
Whether you’ve just earned your bachelor’s or are returning to the classroom after years in the workforce, a graduate degree or certificate from Simpson College will open doors.
If you are a recent (or soon-to-be) college graduate, choosing to pursue a master’s degree right away is an excellent choice. For starters, you’re already in full-on learning mode.
A graduate degree is also ideal for professionals wishing to advance in their current industry — and equally fitting for people looking to pivot their careers.
No matter which Simpson graduate program fits your goals, you’ll receive an outstanding education. Under the direction of our expert faculty, you’ll broaden your knowledge, develop specialized skills, and deepen your leadership capability.
The Graduate Student Experience at Simpson
The graduate student community at Simpson is diverse, welcoming, and vibrant. Whether you’re attending on campus or online, you’ll have access to many of the same resources and services as our traditional undergraduate students.
Well-Prepared
The number one thing I liked about Simpson was the small class sizes. The teachers were really interactive, and I could always go to my counselor if I needed anything. It was the total package.

Master’s Degree Programs
Whether you want to teach in Iowa or pursue justice-related roles, our graduate degrees prepare you for careers that make a difference. We offer an MAT and transition-to-teaching program, as well as a criminal justice master’s.
Graduate Certificates
Boost your credentials by investing in a graduate certificate. Shorter in duration than a full master’s degree, these programs offer intense study in a specific subject, such as trauma and resiliency.
Post-Bacc Certificates
In addition to graduate-level options, certificates allow you to gain expertise in areas like data science or accounting. These certificates are perfect to stack upon existing credentials.
