Public relations is another form of story-telling and adheres to the fundamentals of journalism. You will learn how to see the big picture and design measurable objectives to prove the communication strategies and branding techniques are working.
Simpson’s public relations major is designed around a rigorous curriculum endorsed by the Public Relations Society of America, the premier professional organization for public relations practitioners.
This course will introduction you to the practices and theories that inform the study of human communication as a social and cultural phenomenon. You will consider quantitative, qualitative and critical social-science research into the processes and effects of communication in interpersonal, organizational and mass communication contexts.
