The core courses you will take are designed to build strong foundational skills. Advanced studio courses will develop your skills even further through more individualized projects that explore conceptual content.
Study basic applications and principles for effective visual communication. The principles of design will be explored through a wide range of materials, forms and artistic practices.
Art scholarships available!
Serious about studying art at Simpson? We have a scholarship for that! If you are majoring or minoring in art, all you have to do is submit a portfolio of 12 works of art and two letters of recommendation to be considered. If selected, you will receive financial aid you can apply toward tuition and other expenses.
