Studying Abroad

INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS STUDYING ABROAD/AWAY

If you are studying away, either domestically or internationally, it is important that you visit with a staff member in the office of financial aid. This should be done early in your planning to determine what aid can be applied to your study away program and to complete appropriate documents.

Portions of some Simpson-funded aid, some state and federal grants, as well as loans in your package may apply to your study away program. Whether your financial aid will transfer depends upon the type of aid you have been packaged and the study away program you decide to attend. The study abroad program must be a part of your course program of study in order to receive financial aid.
